Electrochemical water splitting
The design and development of inexpensive and highly efficient non-precious metal electrocatalysts for full water splitting underpins several emerging clean-energy technologies. In our group, the alternative electrocatalyst for water spliting based on trannsition metal is developing. The propose of development is to obtain high performances of catalysts for the anodic oxygen evolution reaction and cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction in order to reduce the overpotential and enhance the current density, making the overall process more energy efficient.
