Green synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles via sonochemical method and antifungal properties application

Light harvesting Ru and Zn complexes

Morphology controlled ZnO nanostructures were studied by ultrarapid sonochemistry using zinc source and alkaline solutions under ambient conditions. Concentration of precursors and irradiation time as well as chelating biopolymers could be effectively controlled particle size and shape of ZnO (e.g., spheroid, spindle-like, star-like, cubic, and octahedral). These ZnO nanostructures may promising applications in anti-aging, anti-microbial, photocatalytic activities, and optoelectronic devices.
